Camera Balun

A camera balun is a device used in CCTV systems to transmit video signals from a security camera to a DVR, NVR, or monitor using twisted-pair cable such as Cat5 or Cat6. It converts the camera’s unbalanced video signal (via BNC/coax) into a balanced signal, allowing the video to travel longer distances with reduced signal loss and interference. A matching balun at the receiving end converts the signal back for clear video display.
